The Giglio winery, which has been in the winemaking business for over three centuries, is now in its fourth generation with Tommaso and his children Marco, Mariagrazia, and oenologist Giovanni.
Passion, tradition, innovation, and quality are the values handed down from generation to generation in the Giglio family, and today these notions are conveyed through local Sicilian wines bearing the I.G.P. mark of quality. Terre Siciliane
This company has a deep connection to the area and is an entrepreneurial and familiar undertaking binding the Giglio family to Sicily.
Based in Mazara del Vallo (Sicily), it has some 15 hectares of vineyards, trained on vertical trellises, with an average production of about 80 tones per ha., obtaining an excellent quality of grapes.
In its development policy, the company has established the objective of focusing on and enhancing local grape varieties, such as Nero D’avola, Grillo, Grecanico, and Catarratto, as well as planting international varieties such as Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay.
We occupy a niche position and we feel that this aspect is ideal for expressing products of excellence.
